Early Bird Registration by January 14 , 2024 is $85
Regular registration from January 15 - February 10 is $105
Late registration after February 10 is $135.
Registration fee includes: One year SCAAE membership and approximately 7 hours of Continuing Professional Education.

Dr. Scott Dell, DBA, CPA - 2025 Annual Conference Keynote Speaker
As a spirited and engaging speaker, “Dr. Scott” Dell shares his passion and knowledge helping others to understand and best utilize today’s technology. He is an award-winning and skilled academic with business experience and a proven track record of inspiring others inside and outside the classroom. He stays current on how to best use and apply today’s tools. He received the Accounting Educator of the Year award from the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs in 2018. That same year, while serving as Marian University’s Accounting Program Director, he received that institution’s Social Justice Award for service to the community.
Dr. Scott has founded, owned, grown, and sold multiple businesses. He is a licensed CPA in the States of Wisconsin, Michigan and South Carolina. He has Big 4 (EY) CPA firm roots as an auditor along with experience as a Grant Thornton consultant. He has over 15 years of full-time academic experience, along with over 20 years of engaging business experience. He possesses a Wharton MBA, an M. Ed. in Education Technology, and a AACSB Doctorate in Accounting from the Univeristy of Wisconcin. He is also a Navy veteran. He thrives on building skills and expanding the knowledge of his students/clients/colleagues helping them grow personally and professionally. His AI workshops, presentations, and keynotes are not to be missed.
Dr. Scott has presented numerous keynotes and presentations have been conducted for local and international organizations in 2023 including The American Institute of CPA’s (AICPA) 5th Global Academic Champion Forum - Virtual (keynote), Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) National Conference - Minneapolis, National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Conference - Orlando, IMA Carolina’s Regional Conference - Myrtle Beach, American Accounting Association (AAA) Spark Conference - Virtual, Miles Education – Virtual, South Carolina Association of Accounting Educators – Columbia, South Carolina Association of CPAs Spring Splash Conference - Charleston. Maryland Career Development Association (MCDA) - Virtual, the South Carolina Association of Colleges and Employers (SCACE) - Columbia (keynote), FMU Teaching and Learning Seminar: Panel of 3 - Florence, and the Florence Rotary Club. Scott also presented at AAA’s Conference on Teaching and Learning in Accounting (CTLA) in Denver this past August. Most recently (12/23), he presented the keynote for the SC AI Symposium sponsored by Clemson, USC (South Carolina), Furman University, and the SCACE (SC Association of Colleges and Employers).
He co-wrote the AI guidebook for accountants “ChatGPT and AI for Accountants: A Practitioners Guide”. He is also the author of the definitive LinkedIn resource "Your COMPLETE Guide to SUCCEEDING with LinkedIn" Additionally, he is co-developer and author of the “Living Your DREAM CAREER” online course, book, and workbook. Published in practitioner journals such as Strategic Finance and the Journal of Accountancy, along with contributing peer-reviewed research in artificial intelligence and nonprofit financial health adds to the depth of his experience. His co-authored article “ChatGPT and AI in Accounting Education and Research” was selected as the #2 best article in the IMA”s Strategic Finance for 2023. His co-authored article “The ChatGPT Artificial Intelligence Chatbot: How Well Does It Answer Accounting Assessment Questions?” as published in the AAA’s Issues in Accounting Education has been nominated for their prestigious 2023 Best Paper Award.
As a believer in lifelong learning, and in the interest of setting an example for his students, Scott recently earned his IMA Data Analytics Fundamentals Course Certificate/Badge, along with a Google certification from their GAI Fundamentals series and LinkedIn/Microsoft Career Essentials program in Generative AI series.
