Kris has been teaching accounting in South Carolina for over 20 years. She currently serves as an accounting instructor at the University of South Carolina in the College of HRSM. She has worked in the private and public arena as an accountant. She served as SCAAE President from 2020-2022 and Secretary for the 2022-2023.

Angela comes to the accounting/education arena with 14 years of teaching experience. She has been teaching accounting for 14 years and currently serves as the Department Chair, Accounting & Management at Central Carolina Technical College in the School of Professional Studies. Since Angela joined the organization in 2021, she’s has served on various committees – Conference Planning Committee and Membership Committee.

Tara Saracina, DBA, CPA
Claflin University
Tara is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Claflin University and has been in accounting education for over 22 years. She also previously worked in industry and had a small consulting and tax practice. She serves as an ACBSP Champion for her school, and has previously served as a Department Chair and Interim Dean. Her teaching areas are Intermediate Accounting and Accounting Information Systems with her research interests extending to Digital Upskilling, Technology Education in Accounting and AIS in small businesses.
Angela Stallings
Midlands Technical College
Angela joined Midlands Technical College as Director of Accounting Programs in January 2020 after 22 years of working in Tax and Accounting. She has experience working for General Electric, The Reynolds & Reynolds Company, and Grant Thornton, but most recently spent 17 years at Sonoco Products Company in Hartsville, SC. She enjoy teaching and is very excited to be at MTC. She is a graduate of Northwest Florida State College (AA), and the University of Cincinnati (BSBA, MBA, and MS-Tax). She volunteers time with VITA, United Way, Junior Achievement, Lions Club, and Chapin Community Christian Church.
Elizabeth Cole, Ph.D.

Elizabeth Cole, Ph.D. serves as an associate professor and chair of the Department of Economics, Finance, and Accounting at USC Upstate’s George Dean Johnson, Jr. College of Business and Economics (JCBE). Cole joined USC Upstate in 2007 after serving in teaching roles at James Madison (2002-07) and Old Dominion (1999-2002) universities. She earned her Ph.D. in accounting from Kent State’s Graduate School of Management, her master’s degree in accounting from Virginia Tech.
Scott Dell, CPA, DBA
Francis Marion University
“Dr. Scott” Dell is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. He has been a full-time academic for over 15 years. Besides holding a CPA in two states, and being active in the American Accounting Association (AAA) he also regularly presents CPE (Continuing Professional Education) programs on Artificial Intelligence and LinkedIn. He has also authored multiple books and articles on those topics.

Robert Hogan, PhD, CPA (inactive)
College of Charleston
Robert has been teaching accounting at the College of Charleston for more than 10 years. He currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Accounting and Business Law at the College of Charleston and as the Director of the Master’s of Accountancy program. He teaches Intermediate Accounting and the Accounting MBA course.
